Each year more than 35,000 theater lovers enjoy a cozy night of comedy and musical theater under the stars at the Northern Sky Amphitheater. Music, dance and outrageous comedy is the reason visitors and locals alike keep coming back to enjoy uproarious performances year after year. While the theater is open year-round, it’s the summer season — which runs June-August — that is the hot ticket. Down for real outdoor adventure? A true hiker’s paradise, thanks to its miles of trails, observation tower with spectacular views and breathtaking scenery. The park is nearly 4,000-acres and spans seven miles of Lake Michigan’s Green Bay shoreline with rocky bluffs ascending more than 150 feet for picture-perfect views. Hiking and biking are warm-weather musts. Or, rent a boat to better admire picturesque area. As the temps dip, trade your swim trunks for cross-country skis or snowshoes to enjoy the natural splendor of a Door County winter.

Wilson’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor

Stop by Wilson’s for an old-fashioned sweet treat! This throwback, old-school ice cream parlor is a classic Door County landmark. You can explore quaint villages from your seat on the unique Door County Trolley, a popular group activity with 12 tours to choose from. At the new trolley station, grab a drink and bite to eat (both allowed on board) and begin your journey. Popular tours include the WIne, Spirits & Brew Tour, Haunted Pub Crawl, Narrated Scenic Tour, Bloody Mary & Brunch Tour and more. Skyway Drive-In Theater

Once darkness falls, visitors and “townies” alike jump in the car and head to the Skyway Drive-In Theater, which has been projecting Hollywood’s hottest cinema since 1950. In fact, movies have lit up the screen every summer since its opening — making it the longest continuously running drive-in in Wisconsin. The theater is open weekends in May, September and October and operates nightly June through Labor Day, with movies lighting up the night at dusk.
